М.Н. Гриценко: «Я чувствую, что исполняю какой-то внутренний долг...»

Марина Николаевна Гриценко, внучка основателя Третьяковской галереи, во время Великой Отечественной войны работала секретарём-референтом в Оргкомитете Союза советских художников. Многие художники называли её «родной» за бескорыстную помощь и дружескую поддержку. «Интересы этого обширного семейства – мои интересы. И в них моя жизнь», – говорила она. Дневники Гриценко, хранящиеся в отделе рукописей Галереи, раскрывают неизвестные страницы военного быта – от эвакуации семейного архива Третьяковых на барже в Молотов (Пермь) до отбора документов, вывезенных из квартиры Нотгафтов в Ленинграде во время бомбежек. В разрушенных залах Третьяковской галереи Марина Николаевна занималась подготовкой выставок «Великая Отечественная война», «Героический фронт и тыл». В дневниковых записях, оставшихся потомкам важной хроникой событий того времени, она особо отмечает 17 мая 1945 года. В этот день Третьяковская галерея вновь открылась для посетителей.

M.N. Gritsenko: “I Feel that I Am Performing Some Inner Duty…”

During the Great Patriotic War, Marina Gritsenko, granddaughter of the founder of the Tretyakov Gallery, worked as an administrative assistant at the Organizing Committee of the Union of Soviet Artists. Many artists called her “dear” for her selfless help and friendly support. She used to say: “The interests of this extensive community are my interests. They are my life.” Gritsenko’s diaries that are kept at the manuscripts department of the Gallery reveal unknown events of the war years – from the evacuation of the Tretyakov family archive on a barge to Molotov (Perm) to the selection of documents removed from the apartment of the Notthafts in Leningrad during bombing. In the destroyed rooms of the Tretyakov Gallery Gritsenko worked on the preparation of the exhibitions “The Great Patriotic War” and “The Heroic Front and Rear”. In her diary entries that present an important chronology of events of that time for future generations she specially noted May 17, 1945, the date when the Tretyakov Gallery was once again opened for the public.
