Искусство создавать город – многосложный вид творчества, которым владели ещё наши далёкие предки. Небольшому городу Киржач, что на границе Владимирской и Московской областей, истинную силу и душу подарил Сергий Радонежский, заложивший на высоком берегу одноимённой реки обитель, постепенно превратившуюся в город. Фигура, стоящая у истоков, как правило, устанавливает планку, которую на протяжении веков поддерживают неординарные, влюблённые в свою малую родину личности. В Киржаче традиции прошлых поколений продолжает меценат Евгений Сергеевич Фёдоров, вовлекая всё больше неравнодушных в создание будущего старинного города. «Киржач туристический» – далеко не единственный предпринимательский и социально значимый проект, который делает провинцию удобной для жизни и привлекательной для путешествий. Добрый отклик получили «Сказания о земле Киржачской», рассчитанные для семейного чтения.

The art of creating a city is a multi-complex type of creative endeavor mastered in the past by our remote ancestors. The small city of Kirzhach located on the border of Vladimir and Moscow regions was given its true power and soul by Sergius Radonezhsky who built an abode on the high bank of the river of the same name which gradually turned into a city. The founding figure usually sets the bar, which for centuries is upheld by unordinary personalities in love with their birth place. In Kirzhach, the local philanthropist Evgeny Fyodorov carries on the traditions of past generations, involving growing numbers of active residents into setting up a historic city and this project, “Tourist Kirzhach”, is not the only business and socially significant one aimed at making the province comfortable for its residents and attractive to travellers. Another one, “Stories about the Land of Kirzhach” intended for family reading, was also well received.
