На выставке работ Франциско Инфанте в Государственной Третьяковской галерее собрано свыше 400 предметов, представляющих разнообразие техник и форм искусства, с которыми экспериментирует автор. Творческий путь художника начался в Строгановском училище, где он встретил единомышленника, жену и соавтора – Нонну Горюнову. Бросив обучение на полпути, Инфанте отправился самостоятельно искать «настоящее» искусство. Пройдя путь от художника-кинета до автора перформансов и инсталляций, он сформулировал концепцию «артефакта». В это понятие входит некий рукотворный объект, который вносится Инфантой в природу, а также процесс съёмки на камеру и сама фотография. Артефакты создаются циклами с 1968 года. Порой кажется, что парящие в воздухе зеркала, цветные геометрические элементы и нити добавлены на уже готовую фотографию, однако никакой цифровой обработки автор не производит. В этом состоит уникальное мастерство Инфанте, сложность техники и сама суть артефактов – художественных объектов, дополняющих реальность.

Eternity and Mystery in the Art of Francisco Infante

The solo exhibition of Francisco Infante held at the State Tretyakov Gallery presents over 400 works of a multitude of art techniques and forms with which the author has been experimenting during his creative career that started at the Stroganov Academy where he met Nonna Goryunova, his kindred spirit, wife and co-author. Having left the Academy half-way through his studies, Infante has set out on his independent search of “real” art. He progressed from a kinetic artist to the author of performances and installations, formulating the concept of the “artefact”. This notion includes a man-made object that Infante introduces to nature, as well as the process of taking photos and the actual photo. He has been creating his artefacts in cycles starting from 1968. It seems at times that the mirrors, color geometric element and threads floating in the air have been added to the ready photo, however the author does not use any digital processing. That is, precisely, the main principle of his unique mastership – applying complex techniques and revealing the very essence of the artefacts – artistic objects that supplement reality.
